Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before placing an order with ServerOrbit.com. By making a purchase, placing an order, or otherwise shopping on our website, you agree to these terms.

Cardholder Security & Safety:

All cardholder information is securely processed through a secure payment gateway. We do not store cardholder information on our website, nor do we share customer information with any third party.

Acknowledgment from the Customer:

These terms constitute a binding contract between the customer and ServerOrbit.com. The customer acknowledges agreement and acceptance of these terms by making a purchase, placing an order, or otherwise shopping on our website. These terms are subject to change without prior notice, except that the terms posted on the site at the time the customer initially places or modifies an order will govern the order in question.

Payment:

Payments for products can be made by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Wire Transfer/ACH, PayPal, or Wise/Western Union unless ServerOrbit.com has agreed upon credit terms. We do not accept credit cards issued by foreign banks.

Our Credit Card Policy requires all shipments to be sent only to the account holder's home or business address. For security reasons, we cannot redirect packages to a person other than the cardholder. In certain cases, ServerOrbit.com may consider shipping to an alternate address. In such cases, we may require you to:

  • Fill out the Card Authorization form.
  • Include a copy of your Driver's License/State Issued Photo ID.
  • Provide a copy of the credit card (both sides).
  • Sign the authorization form in the indicated area.

All information obtained on the form will be kept strictly confidential by ServerOrbit.com. If ServerOrbit.com determines an order to be high risk, we will only accept "ACH/Wire Transfer" as a payment method.

Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified in an agreement between the buyer and ServerOrbit.com. Unpaid invoices shall bear interest at a rate of 2.5% of the monthly outstanding balance, commencing on the payment due date. For international orders, we prefer wire transfers for faster shipment.

Credit Card Companies and Shippers:

When you make a purchase, we send your credit card information, name, billing address, and the amount of your purchase to your credit card company for verification and authorization. Your name, telephone number, and shipping information must be provided to third-party shippers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL etc. There may also be instances where we drop-ship orders directly to you from one of our manufacturers or suppliers. These drop-shippers are only given your name, postal address, and telephone number to fulfill your order.

Right to Reject Orders:

ServerOrbit.com reserves the right to reject any order. Any fraudulent payment attempts will be reported to the relevant law enforcement agencies.

Cancellation. 

Order Cancellation Policy:

Once a customer's payment has been processed, cancellations are no longer permitted. Customers must follow the return process. ServerOrbit.com reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 30% and/or a card processing fee of up to 7%, depending on the order status. If the order has been partially delivered or is in the process of shipment, cancellation will not be allowed.

Late Fee Policy:

A Late Fee of 2.5% (or the Highest Rate Permitted by Law, if less) per month will be assessed on the Total Balance Due when more than 30 days past due.

PayPal Fees:

PayPal fees are non-refundable for cancelled orders after payment has been made.

Collection Fees:

Should ServerOrbit.com decide upon non-payment of terms offered or later that a collection agency is required for payment, any collection fees will be due in addition to any late fees.

Products and Pricing

ServerOrbit.com continually updates and revises its products and pricing. We may revise and discontinue products or change prices at any time without prior notice. Prices for certain government, corporate, and institutional customers may be outlined in a bid or other written agreement between the parties. Payment is due when products are shipped unless credit terms have been arranged in advance with our credit department. In such cases, payment terms shall be as outlined in the credit agreement.

All software is provided subject to the license agreement included in the package. By opening the package or breaking its seal, the customer agrees to be bound by the license agreement.

All licenses, digital goods, services, or non-physical goods such as service contracts or agreements are not returnable.

Product Descriptions

ServerOrbit.com and its associates strive for accuracy in all product descriptions. However, we do not guarantee that the product descriptions or other content on this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. We do our best to provide correct information about every product, but all product images may not be identical to the products themselves.

Product Condition Specification

Please check the parts' condition before placing an order. The product conditions are as follows:

  • Factory-Sealed New in Original Box (FSB): Brand new items, sealed in the original/authentic manufacturer's box, complete with the manufacturer's genuine warranty.
  • New Sealed in Box (NIB): Items may or may not have a genuine box but come with a manufacturer's warranty. Sometimes, these come in Brown boxes but the items are new.
  • New Factory-Sealed Spare: Items are in authentic/genuine manufacturer/brand boxes but do not have any manufacturer warranty, it may take a server warranty.
  • New (Box Not Sealed): Items have never been used; the only difference is that the outside factory seal has been broken. The warranty depends on the product category.
  • New (System) Pull: Items come with a clamshell box and do not have any manufacturer/brand warranty. These parts are typically pulled from new systems and may have short-term use.
  • Excellent Refurbished: Parts are restored to their original/refurbished condition by the original manufacturer, an affiliate, or a third-party facility. They may have minor blemishes and generally have never had any defects.

Manufacturer/Brand Warranty

For An Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that makes components and server parts (e.g., Lenovo, IBM, Dell, HPE), a full 1-to-5-year warranty is required for full coverage. If any manufacturer or brand does not support the advertised warranty, ServerOrbit.com will cover the warranty duration. There are no refunds for these items.

Final Sale Items

Final sale items are non-returnable/refundable under any circumstances. Please ask our team for any questions before shipment.

Shipment Policies

Taxation on Sales:

ServerOrbit.com is obligated to collect sales tax from clientele residing in New Jersey, California, Indiana, and Texas, in conformity with the respective state statutes. For patrons situated outside these jurisdictions, we do not levy sales tax. Possessors of a Tax-Exempt Certificate are absolved from sales tax, contingent upon the shipping address of the product.

Order Dispatch and Conveyance:

  • Orders lodged before 3:45 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on business days are customarily dispatched on the same day. Expedited orders, such as overnight deliveries, receive prioritized attention. For urgent dispatches, we advocate telephonic communication to ensure prompt processing.
  • Orders placed during weekends or public holidays are dispatched on the subsequent business day.
  • We disclaim responsibility for delays engendered by inclement weather at the origin or destination of any merchandise sold.
  • We abstain from shipping to guests at hotels or to P.O. Boxes.
  • All shipments adhere to business day schedules, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, unless Saturday Delivery is opted for.
  • A fee of $20 will be imposed for the re-dispatch of undeliverable ground orders. Additional charges may be incurred for the elevation from ground to expedited services. For such upgrades, please liaise with customer service.

Shipping Modalities:

  • Saturday Delivery: Ensures delivery on Saturday.
  • Next Day AM Service: Guarantees arrival on the next business morning.
  • Next Day Service: Ensures delivery on the next business day.
  • 2-Day Service: Promises delivery within two business days.
  • 3-Day Service: Ensures delivery within three business days.
  • Ground Shipping: Free in the 48 contiguous states of the USA. Delivery spans vary from 1-7 business days, contingent upon the shipping address.

Shipping Couriers:

Our preferred couriers include FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS. The cut-off time for express orders is established at 3:45 PM EST.

Domestic Dispatches within the United States:

  • Complimentary ground shipping is provided for all orders within the 48 contiguous states.
  • Merchandise in stock is dispatched within 24 hours, provided the order is finalized by 3:45 PM EST, from Monday through Friday.
  • We are not accountable for delays occasioned by meteorological challenges encountered by our carriers.
  • For orders with specific temporal requisites, we urge telephonic placement for personalized assistance.

International Engagements:

  • Our international commerce is exclusively business-to-business, with a minimum order stipulation of $500.
  • International PayPal transactions will incur processing fees. Additionally, customers are responsible for arranging the processing fees associated with ACH or Wire Transfers.
  • International orders necessitate pre-payment via wire transfer. Post-order placement, and wire transfer/ACH details will be communicated via email.
  • Merchandise is not available for sale in North Korea, Myanmar, Iran, Libya, Syria, Sudan, and Cuba.
  • International clientele bear responsibility for all customs and shipping expenses. Additionally, international buyers are accountable for return shipping costs, irrespective of whether the items arrive damaged or non-functional.

Handling Protocols:

  • Handling charges at checkout are computed automatically. Our multiple warehouse locations across the U.S. ensure expedited delivery.
  • Our shipping and handling fees encompass expenses related to customer service, processing, shipping, returns, exchanges, and overhead.

Tracking Intelligence:

  • Real-time tracking information is disseminated via email for products directly dispatched from our warehouses. For items shipped from affiliated vendors, tracking details are communicated within 24 hours.
  • For second-day and overnight shipments, tracking updates are relayed on the day of dispatch. For ground shipments, a 1–2-day buffer may be required for updates.

Please be advised that orders with shipping addresses designated as P.O. Boxes may be subject to cancellation. For expedited approval of credit card orders, ensure congruence between your shipping and billing addresses as recorded by your credit card company.

Should your order arrive in a compromised condition, it is advisable to refuse the delivery. The carrier bears responsibility for the damage, not the recipient. If you accept delivery and subsequently discover damage upon unboxing, initiate contact with the carrier for inspection, followed by communication with our Customer Service Department, and we will advocate a claim on your behalf.

For Order Cancellation

After the processing of your remittance or the dispatch of your order (evidenced by the generation of a tracking number or shipping label), the abrogation of your order becomes untenable. Should you elect to forsake the item, adherence to our restitution protocol is necessitated. Licenses and software are irrevocable and devoid of any provision for refunds or cancellations.

Product Return Procedure

Eligibility Criteria for Return or Replacement

Products are eligible for replacement within 180 days or for reimbursement within 30 days from the date of acquisition. Post the 30-day window, the applicability of the manufacturer's warranty ensues, contingent upon availability. The duration of warranties varies across different product categories. Certain merchandise, once unsealed, becomes ineligible for return. Items encased in factory-sealed retail boxes, once opened, are non-returnable. The act of unsealing a software package or breaking its seal signifies your concurrence with the enclosed license agreement. Licenses, digital commodities, services, or tangible goods such as service contracts are non-returnable.

Returns are subject to a levy of a 20% restocking fee, with the onus of shipping costs for returned products resting upon the customer. Replacements are dispatched via ground transportation, barring the provision of additional payment for expedited methods by the customer. Expenditures incurred for premium shipping and credit card processing fees are non-refundable. Products exhibiting physical damage are deemed ineligible for return. In instances of receipt of damaged merchandise, immediate notification to the shipper is imperative.

For products compromised during transit, rejection of the package is advised if conspicuous damage is observed. Should damage be discovered upon unwrapping, prompt engagement with the carrier for inspection is crucial, followed by liaising with ServerOrbit to initiate a claim. The reporting of damaged packages to ServerOrbit must transpire within two business days; failure to comply absolves us of responsibility for damage claims. Factory-sealed products returned in good condition are subject to a 35% restocking fee.

In scenarios involving defective or dead-on-arrival (DOA) items, a replacement will be dispatched forthwith. Should a DOA product be ascertained as operational, the imposition of a 50% RMA fee ensues. The attempt to return any item divergent from what was initially dispatched to you is proscribed. All shipments and serial numbers undergo documentation before dispatch.

For the initiation of a return, procurement of an RMA number from the ServerOrbit.com RMA department is requisite. Products returned devoid of an RMA number fail to be recognized as returns. The receipt of returned merchandise by ServerOrbit must occur within 10 days; contrarily, the RMA is rendered null. You must provide us with the return tracking number if any RMA has been approved for return. All returns attract a 20% restocking fee. For an RMA request, the provision of the order number, serial numbers of products, rationale for return, action to be undertaken, and the status of the box (opened or manufacturer-sealed) is obligatory.

Warranty Provisions:

30-Day Refund Warranty and 180-Day Replacement Warranty:

The provision of replacement or refund is available for defects in material. The initial recourse is the replacement of the merchandise. The replacement endeavour continues as long as the merchandise remains within the ambit of the original warranty period. In the event of our inability to replace the merchandise, reimbursement of the actual sell price of the merchandise ensues. Shipping charges and taxes, where applicable, are non-refundable. The prerogative to decide between product replacement or refund restitution resides with ServerOrbit.com.

For Extended Warranty Items:

The Extended 1-3 years warranty commences after the original warranty (30 days) and culminates 1-to-3-year from the purchase date, as delineated on the invoice. In the event of material defects, ServerOrbit.com commits to a solitary replacement. Should we falter in the replacement endeavour, reimbursement of the actual sell price of the merchandise will be affected. Charges about warranty, shipping, and taxes, where applicable, are non-refundable. The discretion to opt between product replacement or refund restitution resides with ServerOrbit.com.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

Our warranties do not extend to any issues precipitated by:

  • Accident, abuse, neglect, shock, electrostatic discharge, heat or humidity surpassing product specifications, improper installation, operation, maintenance, or modification;
  • Misuse contravening the instructions delineated in the user manual;
  • Lost passwords;
  • Malfunctions attributable to ancillary equipment.

The validity of our limited warranties is nullified if a product is returned with labels that are removed, damaged, or tampered with, or if any alterations (including the removal of any component or external cover) are evident. Our warranties do not encompass data loss or damage to auxiliary equipment. Moreover, consequential damages, incidental damages, and costs associated with data recovery, removal, and installation are not recoverable under our warranties.
